The Lancaster Symphony Orchestra was established in 1947 and has been entertaining audiences since. The group puts on nearly two-dozen performances each season at the Fulton Opera House, as well as an outdoor performance in Long's Park.

The Reading Symphony Orchestra is the third oldest in Pennsylvania. Performances are led by Maestro Sidney Rothstein who has been serving the orchestra for over 25 years. The group performs at many special events, such as Berks, JazzFest, Bandshell Concerts and more.

Funding for the orchestra is supplied by fundraising. The Symphony Society first began in 1990. Tickets can be purchased individually or a subscription can also be obtained. Subscriptions can offer up to 40% off the regular ticket price. Prices vary for adults and children.

The York Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1933 as a volunteer orchestra. It went professional in 1946 and today performs a full season of classics, pops and special events each year.
