Hundreds of years ago, the Pennsylvania Dutch painted elaborate designs of colorful geometric patterns, called hex signs, on the side of their barn as decoration. Today, local craftsmen hand silk screen these distinctive designs onto round disks. These hex signs, which make popular souvenirs and home furnishings, are available at the Will-Char Hex Place.
