Colt Museum and McCloskey's Mercantile

York County Historical Society Museum
The museum is housed in a 1921 building that was originally an automobile dealership, with the original showroom space having been preserved in the entrance hall. The facility includes 10,000 sq ft (929 sq m) of exhibition space showcasing the collection of the York County Heritage Trust. There is also an extensive research library and office space for the trust in the building.

Eicher Indian Museum

Hessian Powder Museum at Carlisle Barracks
The Hessian Powder Museum exhibits the storage facility used to contain sulfur, brimstone and other explosive materials during the Revolutionary War. Originally constructed in 1777, the magazine is thought to be built by approximately 40 Hessian soldiers captured by Washington’s troops at the Battle of Trenton.
