101-acre lake is the focal piece of the Raccoon Creek State Park near Hookstown. Situated on 7,572 acres of land, the area boasts numerous hiking tails, camping sites and picnic tables, as well as plenty of undeveloped spots to explore. Raccoon Lake also supports a number of activities, including excellent fishing and swimming at the sandy beach. In the winter, visitors can ice fish, skate, sled and cross-country ski. Louise Arnold Tanger Arborteum Spreading across 5 acres (2 ha) of land, the Louise Arnold Tanger Arboretum holds more than 100 species of trees. Established in 1900, Long's Park offers a variety of entertainment and recreational facilities in Lancaster. The park sits on 71 acres (29 ha) of land and includes several picnic pavilions, a petting zoo, a lake, trails, a playground and other amenities. Situated on 100-acres of land, this farm started in 1971. Located on the farm are many friendly miniature horses. The horses interact with visitors and will participate for photos.
